From 1 March 2003, there has been the capacity to lodge documents, that are required or permitted to be filed by the Australian Industrial Relations Commission Rules, electronically with the Australian Industrial Registry (Registry) see Australian Industrial Relations Commission Amendment Rules 2003 (No. 1) and Explanatory Statement.
These rules enable Australian Industrial Relations Commission (Commission) and Registry users to lodge ALL DOCUMENTS by electronic means. Potentially this benefits users through improved convenience and turn around times. The Registry benefits through having relevant documents stored in electronic format—we can move the document around more easily and will need to do less scanning, such as when publishing the terms of an approved Certified Agreement. The Registry strongly encourages all users to take advantage of the electronic lodgment service.
