Schedule 1 (RAO Schedule) to the Workplace Relations Act 1996
The RAO legislation which generally came into operation on 12 May 2003 established a Registration and Accountability of Organisations Schedule (RAO Schedule), Schedule 1 to the Workplace Relations Act 1996 (WR Act) pertaining to registered organisations. Many of the provisions relating to registered organisations previously in the WR Act are replicated in the new RAO Schedule, with some amendments. Other matters are substantially changed by the RAO Schedule.
Arising from the amendments made to the WR Act by the Workplace Relations Amendment (Work Choices) Act 2005, Schedule 1B was renumbered as Schedule 1.
