DIRECTIONS
We direct as follows:
1. The applicants in each matter and any party or intervener in support of the applicants are to file and serve on all other parties and interveners on or before 20 December 2002:
(a) an outline of contentions, and
(b) all evidentiary material including witness statements on which they will seek to rely.
2. The respondents in each matter and any party or intervener in support of the respondents are to file and serve on all other parties and interveners on or before 11 April 2003:
(a) an outline of contentions, and
(b) all evidentiary material including witness statements on which they will seek to rely.
3. All applicants are to file and serve any material in reply on or before 14 May 2003.
Where witness evidence is to be relied on we shall expect that so far as practicable the witness statements filed will constitute the evidence-in-chief.
The matters will be listed for hearing not before 21 May 2003. A further directions hearing may occur after 11 April 2003 in order to provide an opportunity for reconsideration of the time required to complete the hearing of all matters.
There will be liberty to any party to apply.
Conciliation in all matters is to occur before Senior Deputy President Marsh.
